Regular glucose monitoring can be uncomfortable and boring. Some systems require you carry around a fresh container of testing strips and lancets, a monitor, a record book and a disposal container for the used lancets. With these systems, you have to load the lancet, test, wait for a read out, record the read out and then dump the used lancet.
